About me
My name is Tracey Thurgood-Buss and I have worked in the Education sector for twenty years whilst bringing up my own family. Previously to that I worked in training for a telecommunications company.
I am in my fifties and as such I have had various Life experiences. These experiences of life encouraged me to seek a change of career into counselling, an area I have been passionate about for many years. When I have needed to talk through any issues I have experienced, those times I have needed a shoulder, I have been lucky enough to find someone to listen to me and support me. I feel it is important we all have someone who will listen and guide us through challenging chapters of our lives.
I have now completed my counselling training but will continue to train in different aspects of therapy as I believe counselling should be adaptive and client led. As such I feel it is important to explore different types and models of therapy and keep up to date with any training necessary.
I currently volunteer for a local counselling charity in Saffron Walden, called Open Door, and have a private practice in Sewards End. I run my private practice from my home in a quiet, rural setting just outside Saffron Walden, where there is plenty of off road parking.
